Anatoly V. Ghavrish is an experienced and adaptive design engineer specializing in analysis, education, programming, and software operation.

More than 30 years experience in engineering practice within fields such as industrial design, aerospace, and team supervision; including 4 years lecturing as an Assistant Professor at the National Mining University in the Ukraine.

Currently a green card holder available for immediate relocation, residing in the USA, with industrial design experience in North Carolina, and in search of challenging oppurtunities elsewhere within the United States.

Recent Projects:

TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER
I was employed by Liquid Dynamics International Inc, Hampstead NC USA, through its associate Liquid Dynamics International Ltd, of Stockport UK, to make technology transfer to proposed Ukrainian outsource sub-vendor, of molding techniques for composite moldings. The composites are combinations of metallic inserts bonded to elastomer encapsulation with PTFE bonded surfaces. For more detail see note (1) below. This project took from March 2008 until September 2008. My position was "Liaison Engineer, Eastern Block, LDI Ltd"

WEB SITE ANIMATION AND DRAWING DOWN LOAD
I was previously familiarized and trained in the necessary specialist skills for the above project by Liquid Dynamics International Inc. by working as engineer in NC. My primary responsibilities with Liquid Dynamics Int. Inc, of Hampstead NC, were to update 9 ranges of products drawing to AutoCAD, and then to produce animations of how they worked for display on multiple internet sites. As a result of the animation display of the companies’ products, the company says that their sales have increased by more than 40% pa. For more details please see note (2) in the additional notes section. This project took from January 2006 until March 2008.

PROOF OF DESIGN DRAFTING SKILLS
My Preliminary proof of capability was conducted by working as drafts person for my home in the Ukraine from September 2005 using AutoCAD programs, and by electronic file transfer to Liquid Dynamics Int. Inc. For more details please see note (3) in the additional notes section. This project took from September 2005 until January 2006.

Status in the US:

I am a PERMANENT RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES (Green Card) since September 2005. I have now worked continuously for an American company for (3) three years, and in a further two years, baring catastrophe, will take American Citizenship. Versatility / Other:

I am VERSATILE and a LEARNER. I have built a floating dock and pier to deep water on the intra coastal waterway. I can drive a large “BOBCAT” and attachments. I am familiar with many power tools. I play the piano, and take exercises on the beach regularly. I am a divorcee, cook for myself etc. and have two sons. The elder son works for a French company which affiliated in Kyiv, Ukraine. The younger son is a student of Dnipropetrovs’k National University, Ukraine whilst living in an apartment that I own (outright) in the Ukraine. I have a clean NC driving license, and a Buick Riviera, of which I re-sprayed the body, that I enjoy driving up to DC and to the Mountains.

Twenty five years of scientific research, programming and engineering experience in aerospace industry of the USSR and Ukraine. Three years engineering experience in an American affiliate of an international tech company with strong experimental and research traditions and long trade history.
MATHEMATICAL MODELING – static and dynamics, stability and response characteristics of complex systems, linear and non-linear algebraic and differential equations in lumped and distributed parameters, finite-element and finite difference method;
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING- translating basic code to "C", Create and add GUIs, data capture filtering for use as input sets. Fluid dynamic equations and the MatLab interface.
RESEARCH – studies stress distributions in multi-layer shell; definition of the static and fatigue durability;
TESTING – data analysis and data acquisition, including FFTs, power spectrums, correlation functions, amplitude and phase response characteristics, transient processes. Data processing of rockets and space devices.

Note 1:
Sections of LDI Ltd. UK ISO 9001-2000 procedures and process instruction we used, amplified and graphics added, then translated into Russian. I then took the director of the Ukrainian chosen sub-vendor to Stockport UK where I demonstrated the procedures and process instructions. Thereafter the Ukrainians attempted to show their ability to produces a series of items following the technology which has been transferred to them. Mr. Ghavrish and I have reached agreement that he may complete the debriefing and tying loose ends of his projects via the internet if necessary, and that he may therefore seek employment whilst finishing things off here.
